The Grand Antelope Canyon Tour
At Dixie’s Lower Antelope Canyon Tours, we have some exciting news about our Grand Antelope Canyon Tour. We are partnering with another tour group to give you a brand new tour. This tour is unlike anything that is currently offered on the market.
Since this tour has just started, we want to tell you everything about it. Below are 9 things that you need to know about this great tour:
1. A Brand New Tour
While this is a brand new tour, it is not lacking experience. We have been operating and perfecting our tour adventures since 2014. Our partners also have years of tour operating experience.
The two of us have done some great collaborating to create the Grand Antelope Canyon Tour. We get to cover a big part of West America in a day. This lets you see all of the major sites and amazing landmarks in one day.
2. Partnering With Only The Best
Since we focus on Lower Antelope Canyon, we do not offer other tours. Combining with another tour group just made sense. This allows us to focus on what we do best and let them do what they do best. But you get the best of both groups in one amazing day tour.
It is hard to find someone who is an expert in multiple things. With two different tour groups, you know you are getting the best for each activity and site. What this means for you is that the whole tour will be accompanied by great, professional tour guides.
3. International Outreach
We have always been passionate about the Navajo Nation area and Antelope Canyon. Our goal is to share our knowledge with as many people as possible. We offer tours to Lower Antelope Canyon in different languages as part of our international outreach to all tourists.
When we came across this opportunity to do even more international business, we could not pass up the opportunity. There is nothing better than being able to branch out into a new tour while sharing our love for this area. We cannot wait to get this tour up and running this year.
4. When This Tour Operates
This tour does not operate year-round. The tour operates from March to October. This allows you to have a nice time outdoors in warmer weather. Going up high can get cold and so can the cool canyons. You may want to bring a light jacket if you get cold easily.
May through August are summer break months, so spots fill up fast. Our spring and fall months are less crowded so more spots are available to you. This lets you have more of a choice when choosing what day you want to come.
5. Did Someone Say Plane Ride?
That’s right, you read it correctly. You get to take a plane ride over the Grand Canyon on this tour. You will get to fly over several major sites on this flight. This is a great option because not a lot of people get to see these sites from an airplane. There is usually a lot of driving and walking involved without an airplane ride.
There are two different kinds of airplanes you can take on this tour. The first is a twin otter that fits up to 17 people. The second is a caravan that can hold 9 people. The airplane that you will ride on will depend on the size of the tour group.
6. Grand Antelope Canyon – A Great Lineup
You will start this tour at the Grand Canyon South Rim Airport Terminal. From there you will get on the airplane and take off. The plane ride is about one hour long and includes a lot of famous sites to see.
You will land in Page, Arizona. Your next stop will be Antelope Canyon, where you will hike through the canyon. From there you will go to Glen Canyon and raft the Colorado River. To wrap everything up you will get on a bus and drive through the Navajo Nation area on your way back.
7. What is Included
There is a lot that is included with the initial cost of the Grand Antelope Canyon Tour. We love that this is an option for our guests. You will get an airplane ride and the bus ride with this tour. Your ticket into Lower Antelope Canyon is also part of the initial price.
All of the information and knowledge of your different tour guides are included. Breakfast and lunch are included in this tour. You will also get rafting equipment and guidance with this tour. This means that you do not have to go out and buy food or worry about getting hungry.
8. What is Not Included
What we love about Grand Antelope Canyon Tour is that there is a lot included with the tour price. Some things are not included.
The first thing that is not included is transport to and from your hotel. This means that you will want to have a rental car or some other way to get to the terminal before the tour departs. The next thing that is not in the initial price is tipping. Giving your tour guide a tip is a good way to say thank you for their services.
9. Where Do I Get Grand Antelope Canyon Tickets?
This is one of our favorite questions. You can get tickets online at this website. From there you can see the details of the tour, choose your date, and checkout. After you should receive a confirmation email. Keep this email handy as you will need it for confirmation.
We like to get tickets and tours booked in advance. You do not want to wait until the week or even the day of to book this tour. This is because you want to make sure your trip runs smoothly.
